I absolutely love this fan. I bought the satin nickle and it looks fabulous. It is better than I expected. I somehow missed that it had a remote, so that was a nice feature. It has a mood uplight and regular light. A little button in the remote to change direction for winter and summer (I always hated getting the ladder out to change that each season.) If you want a fan to blow you away this will do it, with so many speeds - more than I would ever use.The only caveat was that it said it was easy to install. I hired an electrician since I barely know how to put in a light bulb. The electrician said it was in a lot of parts and it took him awhile to put it together - not hard, just a bit time consuming.But this has totally transformed my guest room and I know my guests will love the convenience of a remote control. I need to buy one for my bedroom!
